More 2008 Tourney Results Information - For the 5th year in a row, Lee Poore of the charter boat DockOar out of Chesapeake Beach, who fishes the Spring Rockfish tournments every year, placed once again fishing his Hulls Unlimited boat, DockOar, with his wife Pam Poore. They scaled a 33.6 pound Rockfish on the 2nd day of the Rod 'n Reel Captains Association's 27th Annual Tournament. We got 6th place for Day 2 of the Tournament!

The "Big Fish" was caught by our new famous Lady Angler, Lauren Solkowski of Chesapeake Beach. Bob Smith, our 2006 AND 2007 big fish winner was with us for the event, but didn't get a turn at the reel due to a VERY slow fishing day!

This year's team was headed up again by Jerry"Tiny" Marx and his friends from Steamfitters Local 602. Also on the boat over the course of the weekend were previous tournament big fish winners Bob Smith, Cary Corder and Mike Lazo. It was an unusually slow day of fishing but Lauren pulled it out in the nick of time, when at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, she pulled in the big one!
